Yue's Expertise

As Senior Managing Director and Head of Investments, Yue spearheads deal sourcing and executing deals, overseeing due diligence, portfolio management and identifying value creation opportunities. Serving on the firm’s investment committee, she brings two decades of private equity and growth equity investing experience. Prior to joining Ariel, Yue was a managing director in the private equity division of The Carlyle Group, as well as a director in the private equity division of KKR. During her decade-long tenure at Palladium Equity Partners, Yue played a key role in fostering growth through strategic investments and partnerships with minority-owned businesses, particularly in buyout and growth equity transactions. Early in her career, she was a member of the financial services investment banking group at Morgan Stanley. Yue is on the boards of CQ fluency, Front Line Power Construction, Groome Industrial Service Group, My Code and Sorenson Communications. Yue is a member of the SEO National Executive Advisory Council. She holds a BS in business administration from the University of Southern California.
